Shopping At an Ambler Vintage Boutique

Nestled among Ambler’s popular restaurants and salons, an assortment of vintage boutiques has emerged. Beginning with three exciting vintage stores on North Main Street and continuing onto East Butler Ave, Ambler has become a local vintage hot spot. With each store carving its own niche, an eclectic array of vintage shopping options is now available, enhancing the experience of a day on the town in Ambler.

Patina Vintage (101 North Main Street) specializes in vintage women’s clothing, handbags, costume jewelry, and accessories that were personally chosen by owner Nicole Burns. Through Patina Vintage, Nicole shares her passion for the freedom of expression that vintage clothing provides. Her love for vintage began with her trips to local thrift stores at the age of 15 and has since grown into the extensive collection that is showcased in her store.

Antique Garden CottageA short walk down Main Street leads to Judy Serrao’s Antique Garden Cottage. Located at 12 North Main Street, the store carries vintage furniture pieces from the 1700 and 1800’s. Vintage shoppers will also find an extensive collection of hand loomed textiles such as bedding, throws, table squares, pillows, chair pads, and runners. Vintage linens including table cloths, runners, doilies, and tea and guest towels are also sold. Antique Garden Cottage is proud to be your local carrier of Caldrea home and bath products as well.

For a one of a kind vintage furniture shopping experience, be sure to stop into Main Street Vintage at 18 North Main Street. Santa Comes To Town

Santa By Train Was Larger Than Life

More than 100 families came out to the newly renovated Ambler Septa Station to welcome jolly 'ole St Nick to Ambler.  Children of all ages were anxious to greet Santa.

Electric was in the air as, in the distance, the crowd could see the approaching train lights and the sound of the crossing bars going down.  Everyone knew a surge of electric magic was about to exit the train.

The crowd cheered as Santa made his appearance.  Santa led the crowd of several hundred  through the Ambler Business District to Ambler Borough Hall where he lit the holiday tree.  He proceeded inside to meet with children and hear their wish lists.

Families excitedly lined the street as Mary Aversa, Ambler Borough Manager, said "we will need to host this event in a larger venue next year".   Cheryl Casalinuovo, event organizer, went on to say "this event continues to grow in popularity and we love to see so many people come out to enjoy this".
